What Solar Desk is
Solar Desk is two products working as one. A homeowner answers six short questions about their house and gets an instant estimate: system size, installation cost, yearly saving, payback, and a monthly plan where the installer offers finance. The installer gets that enquiry in a dashboard built for following it up, with every answer behind the numbers, a quote builder, and an export.
Nothing about it is generic. Every figure a customer sees is worked out from the pricing that particular installer entered, and the panels and batteries on offer are that installer’s own catalogue.

Two pages worth reading first
Section titled “Two pages worth reading first”- The two sides of the product explains the single thing that causes the most confusion: one half of Solar Desk faces homeowners and wears the installer’s branding, and the other half is what the installer logs into.

About the screenshots
Section titled “About the screenshots”Every screenshot on this site comes from demo accounts. The installer is Meridian Solar, and the one waiting to be switched on is Northwind Solar. Both are made up, and so is every price, saving and payback period in them.
A real installer’s customer-facing pages carry their own colours and their own logo, so the calculator you see will not match these screenshots pixel for pixel. The dashboard is the other way round: it looks the same for everyone, because it is always Solar Desk.
